A/FD why such short burnouts? And such low RPM? (1 Viewer)

Every A/Fuel car run GoodYear. Hoosier doesn't even make a fuel tire.

My bad, guess I'm not paying that close attention. I've seen them on some of the Alcohol FC and assumed the dragster did too. But I know that some of the N/TF car run Hoosiers even though they're a smaller tire.

That's OK Gino, I didn't mean to come off as a tool. Alcohol cars use different gearing for the smaller tires.

Kosky is correct as too the reason why.
The answer is they don't want to put heat in the clutch-that is why you see teams push cars up and back to the line
