First step in A/FD making the jump to help thicken T/F? ;)

Go slow there or go fast here.....

Why does bandimere still allow 100%?

High altitude/lack of O2

I was told the way some of those A-Fueler's are getting around it is Cooling their Fuel, what were they at this year 95%?

I'm no pro in A/FD, but i believe this year was 96% and they had to have a tempurature check as well as % check.

So how fast could Reichert go on 100% nitro? I know IHRA allowed A/F in TF a few years back...

On the technical side, what are the major differences (besides the blower, nitro percentage allowed and length of chassis normally used) between A/F and TF?

About 10 million bucks a year.

What a crock. They need to do away with blown alky dragster. If you want to run blown alky, run a funnycar. If you want to run injected nitro, run a dragster.

Can't believe NHRA can't figure this out after all these years.

Too funny! But look at who is running the show.

Careful, Jay. I suggested awhile back that I thought this was the direction NHRA was going to be heading and I was all but tarred and feathered by the blown alky digger gang.

Not that I necessarily agreed with it when I said it, but when NHRA didn't initially act like they were going to take any measures for parity in the class, I just thought this was where they were heading. There are a lot of folks that not only prefer blown alky, but also prefer the motor behind them.

When they gave the blower guys more OD, it seems like it helped close the gap. Isn't there a better blower available, "the C", I think, which may close it further?
