Sadly, I believe sooner or later we'll see one of these errant thrill show Pro Mods fly into spectators. These vehicles are NOT under control. They remind me of thrust driven JET powered dragsters with a "steering wheel"!!! Pro Mods should be 1/8 mile only. The motorcycles and Pro Camaro class also need massive new crowd appeal. Can we please park the alcohol funny car deal already. What a disaster. 500" injected nitro PLEASE. Give me something for my money! The Fuel cars no longer do the long smoky burnouts, with antics on the starting, and a quarter mile runs. We get less and less and we're supposed to be happy.

If the rumor of 250k to win per race and 5 million for the TF and FC champions are true I'd say 32 car fields are more likely than 16

No more likely that the 340mph Nitro cars. When Kalitta and Stewart got together in Maple Grove, that could have been a problem with a different trajectory. It was past the Grandstands but if further up the track it could have been problematic.
MIR has grandstands about 50-75 feet from the track on the pit side. Don't think I will be sitting there.

Nitro FC championship will be down to a fight between Hagen and DeJoria , with Alexis winning the Countdown. Maybe Beckman wins the regular season championship...and Jordan experiences his first FC body launch maybe mid season....4 wides?
Top Fuel will be Kalitta vs Langdon with Shawn being the champ. Regular season could be Leah this time....if they are successful early
Pro Stock will be the KB Titan cars again, toss up each race week and Cory Reed having more finals
PSB will be the VH team running roughshod (what is that anyway?) over Matt Smith's team again. Gaige is going to be hungry again....
