After watching last years june new hampshire race- what a transformation of our sport!! 1. The tv broadcast went from espn to fox-first time ever tv on main fox channel with most showing live finals. . 2. new nhra all access package for hardcore fans. 3. major rules changes for pro stock class. 4. funny cars major et gains for header package -running fastest mph than TF. 5. unfortunate passing Mark Lyle. 6. 3 time champ Larry Dixon sitting on sidelines 2016. 7. Erica Enders 2 time champ brand switch to mopar slow perfomance. 8. V. Gains quits mid season. 9. Street outlaw star Justin big chief Shearer goes legit in pro mod at Indy. 10. Bob Vandergriff closes doors on 2 TF teams mid season due to passing of sponser owner. This has been biggest transformation of sport in 25 years of watching !!!

Yes it was quite a change this year for the better and for the worst meaning that at some races, the fields weren't filled to the 16 cars.
P/S comes to mind. As for F/C making leaps and bounds as for e.t and mph. I think it's putting a huge weight on the part-time, underfunded teams to keep up. The only thing that is helping those teams is a flat 16 car field or less so they at least have 1 rnd. on Sunday.

Don't get me wrong, There were a bunch of Positives in this year's shake up but there are also negatives that also come with the changes.
