Thanks Mike. Pretty clear indication of the problem, no? Qualifies just fine, thank you, but loses more often. Add that to the pretty sad leaves-first number, the holeshot losses, and I'd change the driver too.

Sorry for the Cory fans, and the DS haters, but this seems like the facts here are against Cory.

I'm usually indifferent about the countdown...still am actually, however, reading these stats, it's just really bizarre that a driver can win 12 races, qualify 1st 7X and still not secure the championship until the first round of the final race. Seems not right. Oh well, the countdown is hear to stay and I'm fine with that.

Too bad for Cory. He is one passionate driver. He is needed out there.

Thanks Mike. Pretty clear indication of the problem, no?..............

was going to compare only larry, tony and cory and noticed
antron's name kept popping up @ #1 qual. spot; i agree the fram car was
a hard charger with raceday misfortunes, but the same can be said for
antron who experienced both raceday misfortunes and spotty qualifying;
nevertheless, DSR finishing 2,3,&4.......add those checks up, not bad.
also, DSR #1 qualifier 14x; easy to understand 2nd tf'r for al anabi.

at the end of the day, DSR may have walked off with more prize money for
14 #1 qualifiers, 10 wins and 2 thru 4 in points than did AJR with 7 #1's,
12 wins and the ring?

does #1 qualifier even pay anymore?

interesting about tf qualifying stats that there were 40 different drivers that QUALIFIED for 23 different events, but only 11 drivers qualified for 13 or more of them

With the countdown, you could win 18 races in a year and not win the championship.
