GET THE SCOOP ON A&E’S ‘DRIVING FORCE’ WITH 1320 TV

A&E’s “Driving Force,” which features drag racing superstar John Force, his wife Laurie, and daughters Ashley, Brittany, and Courtney, made its highly anticipated launch on Monday, July 17th, and has been gathering speed ever since.

At the recent Fram-Autolite NHRA Nationals at Sonoma, California’s Infineon Raceway, 1320 TV’s Susan Wade conducted exclusive interviews with Laurie, Brittany, and Courtney Force, as well as with “Driving Force” producer Brent Travers. These insightful interviews provide a fascinating glimpse into what it takes to document the daily lives of the first family of drag racing, both on and off the track.

According to Travers, the debut of “Driving Force” was the biggest and most successful premiere of an A&E program since 2004. “We’ve been so blessed. They’ve done a great job marketing the show, and we think we’ve given them a good product. And the fans seem to love it,” he said.

“There’s an interesting dynamic happening. We’re getting race fans loving all the behind-the-scenes stuff of John and his family, and we’re getting non-race fans loving the racing. I think we’ve struck a very, very good balance.”

1320 TV covers all National Hot Rod Association, International Hot Rod Association, American Drag Racing League, and National Street Car Association events.

In addition, 1320 TV hosts the program "Quarter-Mile Confessions" from the StriVectin hospitality area of the Kalitta Motorsports pit at all NHRA races and from the Scott Griffin Motorsports/Serta Dragster pit at IHRA races.
