I voted no, if Jim Head one of, if not the biggest advocate of 1000 foot racing can make a full quarter mile pass, like he did in the fourth session at Vegas (with header flames visable), than I don't see why they can't run 1320 on at least some of the racetracks. Jim must have felt the facilities at LVMS could have safely supported quarter mile racing or he would have lifted at 1000 feet.
Why can't they just run short track races at places like Pomona and normal races at places with good shutdown length. Its seems like they went from being safety oriented to just lazy.

PS: What about the records/bonus points that weren't awarded this year for 1000' ETs?
