No use making a Friday hit if the NHRA only takes the top 12 cars. If your not in the top 12 you get no time anyway. With only 16 cars at the event you will be in no matter what happens on Sat.
 
Hmmm.If 16 made a run on Sat. and Zizzo aint ran yet,then that would mean there was 17 at the event,lol. Someone is getting bumped.

don't think they thought about that.... but either you count the times from Friday, or first round qualifying on Saturday should be by points standings... and the 'Gang of Twelve' should only race each other in round three...

Or the other runs Friday really happen and should count... you can't have it both ways.... if Saturday rains out, there should only be twelve car fields on Sunday, because only twelve cars have official runs...

in flopper Neff would have been out, Bode out, TJ out, Del Out....

so Del gets in instead of Scott, and Melanie bumped up to 8th from fourteenth. Teach is in the same spot he would have been, .002 slower, Head is in up one spot .042 slower...

doesn't make sense throwing out a teams best run...

Maybe Carbed Funnys need this, but it's a waste in the Fuel classes.

We were well aware of it. We also were pretty sure it wasn't going to rainout on Saturday.

If we can get through 100 feet without shaking the tires, we might have a little something for them.

Thanks Micheal, we had a good day. I thought we could go a couple rounds. We just came up a little short against Fuller.

It's back to reality today, drag racing crew yesterday, soupy poopy monitor today for my 3 year old today.
 
Tony Smith proved to be quite the prognosticator. T said a couple of weeks ago that he thought they could 4.65 'em to death on a given Sunday ... and they darned near proved it yesterday!!!
