BAHRAIN (March 11, 2011) - As the country of Bahrain's official drag racing ambassadors to the world, B1 Racing is pleased to welcome and announce the support of VP Racing for B1's charge to claim the ADRL Championship in 2011. VP will be supplying all racing fuel needed for both testing and racing in the 2011 season.

"The vision of Sheikh Abdulla (bin Hamad Al Khalifa) to promote racing worldwide, educate young people about motorsports, and grow participation is completely in line with what we're working to accomplish at VP, and we're pleased to be a part of the B1 Racing team," said Jim Kelly, VP's corporate director of sales and marketing.

"The team showed great promise in the Arabian Drag Racing League's recent championship battle, and we're excited to be a part of what should be a great run for the US ADRL championship as well," Kelly said. B1 Racing team manager Ameer Akhtarzadeh said, "I've been associated with VP for many years, and the quality of their products and service as well as their pride in their company reflect our attitude at B1, and we are glad to have them on board for our U.S. ADRL championship run. On behalf of Sheikh Abdulla, it's my pleasure to include VP Racing as our official fuel sponsor."

B1 Racing will be fielding at least one car in the ADRL Battle for the Belts in 2011, the Pro Extreme entry driven by multiple-time world champion Joshua Hernandez. The team also fields another Pro Extreme entry driven by Ali Aryan as well as the Pro Nitrous entry driven by Khalid Mohammed. The first event for B1 is March 25-26 at the ADRL season opening CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas just outside of Houston.
