[coverattach=1]Scottsdale, AZ - Kenny Bernstein’s 1980 “Budweiser King” Plymouth Arrow Funny Car will be on display at this weekend’s Goodguys 11th Southwest Nationals in Scottsdale. The meticulously restored race car belongs to enthusiast Wayne Galligan of Arizona .
The car was raced in both NHRA and IHRA competition in 1980 and ‘81, and was the Funny Car class winner at the NHRA Cajun Nationals at Baton Rouge , La. It was one of eight cars to make the “Cragar 5 Second Club” with a best ET of 5.97. The car features a Pat Foster H & H chassis with paint by Tom Straton and Kenny Youngblood.
