something's really wrong here - a USA motorsports crowd should have
a good portion of rebelious young men who like to have a good time.

Snake got the Skoal deal in 1987, but previous years earlier were with Billy Meyer & Tim Grose.

Snake had UST for a long time. Even when he retired, and Dixon had the MGD deal, there was a little Bandit logo on the cowl.

It's not just the rulemakers on this side of the pond... Ask those Marlboro guys in F1 that have to change EVERYTHING that says it in certain countries...

I believe this was Marlboro's last year in F1 with Ferrari, so no more barcodes. Being replaced with Santander, whatever that is.

Santander is a large Spanish bank that is only signing due to Alonso at Ferrari.

Marlboro 'bardcodes' will still appear but more hidden as they own a share in Ferrari.

I used to do promotional work for US Smokeless and I could not tell you how many times I was told off and/or lectured about giving out free samples of skoal and cope. I, myself, am not a tobacco users however, that job paid for my racing and got me in the mix with some people who helped me with racing, other than US Smokeless themselves because one of their district reps told me that they'd never sponsor a female racer.lol.
But yes, it was probably tobacco laws that stopped this. I tell ya, I was tired of being lectured about it by wives of Husbands who toured the truck and got samples.lol
