Up Up and Away..... (1 Viewer)

looking like once again, Stevie "FAST" is shakin $hit up once again! This dude Rocks and I say that because his words back it up.

Stevie won again. Man these guys are running 3.50's 1/8 mile and they are close to the old Pro Xtreme class as far as ETs..... on radial tires! Cars look strange with those little tires, but they seem to hook up as well as the big tires. Would be interesting if a TA/FC would make a lap or 2 on radials.

Radials are as fast or faster than big slicks by their nature (down low, at least) since they have minimal losses in transferring power to the ground, but they require an insane amount of track prep in order to meet their potential. It used to be impressive to see fast times come from those cars because it meant they had an excellent chassis tune-up that could overcome the limitations of the tires. However, on a radial-prepped track, those limitations are largely mitigated.
