This is a good article. Kind of hard to not be a fan of this kid after reading this. I like his thoughts about the sport, and how fast things are changing, particularly with regards to marketing partnerships. We need as many young guns like him in the sport as we can attract.

Hope he comes back soon. Glad he did a year in A/FD. That is a great stepping stone for Top Fuel. I think that when he returns to T/F, he will be more at ease in the car.

Troy is a great guy. Very down to earth. And, when he goes back to Top Fuel, I think you'll see an improvement in his handling of the car.

Good kid and i am sure he will succed much better the next time around in top fuel. Kind of surprised though there were reallyy no kind words for the McPhillips racing family helping him to get things going forward in a positive manner for him
