Traxxas fc delayed

Talk about mixing it up. The shootout is gonna be one heck of a tire smoking drama fest in hot Dallas. I expect that NHRA wanted nothing less. They love fluff.

I think last year's Dallas weather was an extreme. While we could certainly see it again, the weather pendulum could easily swing a little the other way. If I remember, last year was 140+ degree tracks. I will tell you that the track prep was amazing for that temp ... it bit me pretty good when I didn't trust the Track-Meter reading over the temp gun. Give em just 10 or 15 degrees less track temp and I bet you have no issues in FC.

So how's this double up bonus thing going to work? Is the winner of Indy, going to have to win the Taxxas race in Dallas to get the double up bonus? Or is the winner of the Traxxas race, going to have to win the Fall Nationals in Dallas??

Just heard from someone at the track, they postponed the Traxxas FC to another race.

You could at least name your source :) me

They were supposed to start racing (sportsman) at 8 but backed it up until 11. Major stroms went through last night, the head of staging lanes was under water and being pumped out. I assume with those two issues they decided to move it.

I would think a few things played in here. Mainly the extra delay to start todays activities. The main concern is getting the U.S. Nationals done. The late start cramped the schedule and shuffled even more things to early tomorrow. Secondly, the Traxxas Shootout would be the main staple of the qualifying show on tv. Since there won't be one here, it would be a small blurb at the start of the eliminations show. Thirdly, I don't think I've seen it mentioned anywhere about getting any kind of double up bonus other than the satisfaction of winning both. There doesn't appear to be any additional money as in years past. If there were, it would also move to Dallas with the race.
