I love the new design for driver coverage on the outside of the cockpit that whole area looks like a cool fighter plane as it's all tucked in and not just apparent and there.

I noticed what's with the new 4 ventori valve (if the spelling is correct) blower. I know they been used all the time in tafc and pedregon racing seemes to love the other 4 value style but it looks like shoe has the 4 valve style on the traditional looking 3 valve ones. Any advantage or is it just to get people like me talking and speculating. I also noticed they have not used it all the time either so I take it it's not a primary choice yet.

as far as the " cockpit " look , i think it still might just be a test piece, i know last year at some testing they used it just for some aero testing, unless they are actually using it this year in competition i dont know ?

the cockpit was a confirmed addition as lee beard confirmed it as it was more aerodynamic

Patrick, You talking about in that shot they were running a 4 hole hat instead of a three?

All the DSR diggers have the special screen/cage wrap at PBIR. I head they have an enclosed canopy to try next.

I only noticed the 4 hole (round) injector used for one pass and it ran 3.77 @ 324 plus.

this is incredible for dsr. nobody saw this coming with their tf's. and doesn't the nhra give a team that develops a new item i think a season being the only allowed user? talk about innovation. It looked like there was not too much left for innovation for tf and fc yet they have done it. Don's mad about losing the championship and this is gonna make them the most powerful team out their.

I say hands down tony schumacher and spencer massey's team makes more power than al-anabi's dixon and worsham.

from what I recall from back in the day, closed cockpits require a full funny car style fire extinguisher system

With that and the raised Windscreen, will keep fire from sucking forward into the cockpit... as much for safety as areo

ALL about safety; the aero benefits are negligible, other than a bit less wind in Tony's face. Looks good, too. I noticed Shoe ran 3.77 with the 4-holer, 3.76 with the triple. I would imagine they were primarily looking to improve air/fuel distribution; both are the same size (65 square inches). Judging from the runs, it appears that one is the other's equal.

we wont know for sure if the 76 came with a 3 cause it was tuned up or better conditions or if that 76 with the 4-holer would of been a 75. I guess we will all find out if they use it of throw it away into the good idea but no difference pile

At least the four hole will give them room for A R M Y
I like the design as well - That stealth look is cool. Especially in black.
Maybe we'll see this thought again someday?

I'm not so sure about that. Appears to be pretty carefully crafted - that little kick at the back could be there for a reason. Do you have some insider tech info from DSR? If so, I'll bet there are a few TF teams who would REALLY like to talk to you! :D
