(10-4-2007) DINWIDDIE, VA – T.A.R.E. Racing's driver Tim Tindle is coming off time he gets to spend successfully bracket racing at home and is hoping this will give his season a boost towards a strong finish in the AMS Promod Challenge, presented by Tindle Enterprises. He is seeking a solid performance from his T.A.R.E. GT 500 Mustang as he heads to Virginia Motorsports Park for the Torco Race Fuels NHRA Nationals.
"We have our work cut out for us over the last two races," said Tindle. "This Chuck Ford powered Mustang ran pretty good during the last AMS event. The formula is pretty simple: qualify strong and go rounds on Sunday. I feel that we have enough performance to put this championship team in the winner's circle."
As Tindle, Santa Rosa Beach, FL, begins the ninth of ten promod events in the AMS Promod Challenge, he is currently sixth in the BAE Championship points.
Qualifying rounds are scheduled for 3 and 5:30 p.m. on Friday, October 5 and at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 6. Eliminations will begin Saturday afternoon at 4:30 p.m., and conclude Sunday, Oct. 7.
