MADISON, Il -- Tim Tindle and the team T.A.R.E. (Tindle-Ashley Racing Enterprises) Promod team look to make things happen this weekend at the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals, just outside of St.Louis. A dismal beginning to the 2007 AMS Promod Challenge season has left Tindle and his team hungry to prove their abilities.
After three races of the 10 race season, Tindle sits in an uncomfortable position, but not completely out of this running for the championship. With only 7 races left, Tindle knows its time to get down to business.
"We have everything it takes to be contenders in this competition," said Tindle. "We just need to put the pieces of the puzzle together. Chuck Ford and the guys have been working extremely hard to make this happen, so I know that first win will come soon. We have spent the first three races of the season learning. Now it's time to make it happen."
Last year at the O'Reilly NHRA Midwest Nationals, T.A.R.E. delivered two final round combats when Mike Ashley extended his eighth national event win defeating his T.A.R.E. teammate in the final round. Although Ashley will not be competing this year, Tindle is hoping to defend the team's title.
