Not to sound like a broken record, but how about that team. After 3 sessions # 1 again . 4.74 is stout for any team, especially a one man band. He is a great guy, and one hell of a tuner in his own right. Go LRS.:D

Tim is smokin hot and deserves it all.

What is with Tony & Cruz being included in the press toutring independent car's sucess recently? Last time I checked they were a two car deal.

Don't take the limelight from a true independent winner guys!

now if he just put 4 good runs together on sun. I had him on my fantasy last week, but did not win.

Tim had one heck of a weekend....#1 qualifier, #1 in points now, he is leading in the pit crew challenge, and he made 3 passes at 4.82 and wrapped it up in the final with a 4.87.

Frickin' AWESOME!!!!!

Fantastic win! Hooray for team LRS!!!

Great job guys!

Tim has been kicking ass this year and if one of the Force cars cant win, I dont mind seeing Wilk get the win. Congrats to him and his crew and everyone associated with the team.

I have to agree with Justin, but it would have nice to see Mike Neff get his first win, but he didn't miss it by much.:)

Hey Jet,
I can bet that Quaker State, Advance, and all of their other sponsors kick in a little more dough than LRS. I don't know how they can claim themselves as independant. Being originally from the Peoria area, Wilk has always been one of my favorite dudes. He deserves his current success. Guess having that heavy car last year is paying off now.

My son and I were standing at the fence right next to Mikes car after the F/C final and Zippy was standing all alone a little dejected. "Wilky" comes over and say's very seriously, "Mike.. I'm sorry man, It was a close Race" and they shake hands and hug!

It was totally cool to see such great sportsmanship and it was a great teaching momemt for my 8 year old son who is in his first season racing a junior dragster!\

Way to go Tim ;)

when we were in vegas for final round F/C-I was only fan cheering for tim when he beat ashley in the finals- I love the underdog who is hands-on !!!

I don't know if we can call Tim an underdog anymore. He has the best car in the class hands down. Hopefully is able to maintain the points lead all the way to the end of the year.

That was just fantastic to see Tim win, and in a close final to boot. All in all, the racing was excellent, with a lot of unpredictablility and excitement.

Well it was a great weekend, and DAy for Tim and Crew, there was plenty of emotion afterwards, including in the winner's circle, Tim had plenty of the Wilky Warriors, and other area fans to greet him in the winners circle,of course yours truly was right in the middle!!!!!! When they were done with all the team picture he invited all to join him and the team for a picture, that was just way cool!!!

That dude is one bad Hombre, and driving one fast bracket car lately, it just keeps going straight down the track! I too am very glad to see his recent success.

I really wanted to see Neff pull one out, but it's always cool to see the Wilk win.

And call me crazy but I didn't known until yesterday that he is also the crew chief. I bet when/if he retires from driving a lot of team owners are going to be knocking on his door!
