The first 6 are regular season and last 5 playoffs. Aside from nearly 50% of the schedule is playoffs, the first playoff race?

Norwalk in late June. Really? Having Indy be the first one makes so much more sense.

This is a a pro Mod racer decision and not NHRA’s. Almost everything that happens with schedule and structure is with the pro mod organization. They are also the group that wanted a countdown and not just a seasons long points. A few years ago Vegas only drew 11 cars because most everything was decided. With the new structure they have been getting full fields through the last race of the weekend.

the winter series @ bradenton will be fun to watch. THAT is really a great 3-race series.

Why not do 5 race first half champion, then another 5 race second half champion, then 1 race winner take all.
OR
How about a champion after each event
You get a trophy, you get a trophy you all get trophies.....................
I mean they are World Champions even though they never leave North America

How about if the first race of the season sets the eliminations order for a 10-race playoff?
