Hope they do the work to remove it from the charts. Hate to see a stricken plane try to land there in an emergency.
Really, do you know how many airports that are still active in CA. Many of them such Famoso (east of the track) and Eagle Field are left over from WWII training strips that are manged by the local area govt. When events like drag races are held, the local FAA office is notified and any air traffic is diverted to another strip.

 
A second track signs with IHRA and this one also is a part time conversion of a landing strip.
