The Rapid Transit Race Team is heading up to Martin, Michigan where they will compete in the National City Thunder Nationals this weekend. The Team is coming off a great weekend in Atlanta, Georgia where they finished with a semi-final loss when they were unable to make the call.
“It is great to be coming up here again this year. Knoll Gas Motorsports Park is a really nice facility and the fans are great. We really enjoy putting on a show for all the Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels employees that come out for the day,” commented Thacker.
Last year, the Team qualified number one and made it to the final round before it started raining and they were unable to complete the show. The Team, sponsored by Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels, is excited to get a few more laps before heading to the Division 3 season opener in Norwalk next weekend.
“We can’t thank Evan and the rest of the Knoll Gas – Torco Racing Fuels family for supporting our operation. Hopefully, we will be able to put on a good show for all the spectators this weekend and make them proud to be associated with this car.”
Qualifying will be held on Saturday at 4 PM. Eliminations will begin at 7 PM and the final round will be at 10 PM under the lights.
