Shepparton is once again gearing up for its largest annual event, the Spring Car Nationals from the 23rd – 25th November with around 60,000 visitors expected to converge on the town over the weekend for the high octane auto extravaganza.
Showcasing some of the best cars from around Australia and headlined by Australian Drag Racing icon and crowd favourite Brett ‘The Boss’ Stevens, it is an event not to missed for car lovers.
Stevens will be ensuring there is plenty of noise, smoke and burnt rubber with his 2,500 horsepower Jack Daniel’s Racing Falcon Burnout Ute as he performs his infamous driving exhibitions across both Saturday and Sunday on the Springnats burnout pad, as well as whipping the fans into a methanol fuelled frenzy at the After Party at the Shepparton Showgrounds on Saturday night.
“The Springnats is one of the leading car shows in the country and with its 15th birthday this year, it is shaping up to be one of the best yet,” Stevens said.
“There will be all the usual favourite events like the burnout competition, show and shine, dyno competition, go to whoa and spear a spud, as well as the addition by the organisers of the Jack Daniel’s After Party at the Shepparton Showgrounds where the cars can keep running late into the night.”
“One of the things I like best about Shepparton is the burnout pad though, it is probably the biggest in Australia and I can really let loose in my Burnout Ute giving it a good workout.”
“The crowds here always appreciate when I tear up a brand new set of Dag Racing tyres, they really love their burnouts and I love putting on a show for them.”
As well as heating up the action on the burnout pad, Stevens will also have his Jack Daniel’s Racing and SP Racing Ford Falcon Top Doorslammer race cars on display for fans before they are loaded back into the team’s transporter on Sunday night and sent to Perth for the next round of the National Drag Racing Championship.
Stevens will also be making a special guest appearance to sign autographs and meet the fans on Friday 23rd November at the Aussie Hotel from 9:30pm – 10:30pm for the official Jack Daniel’s Racing Springnats Party.

STEVENS TO SIZZLE SLICKS AT SPRINGNATS
