Went testing today in West Salem Ohio- what a beautiful facility-Drag racing is still alive-had a great time we rented the track they treated us as best I have ever seen-Will def. go back-Mike

I’ve heard that 42 got a boatload of $$ invested by the new owners. I keep wanting to stop by and look at it but every time I’m near it I’m on a mission with no time to waste.

I just wish Dragway 42 was closer to Cleveland.

They’ve made a lot of cool changes there. At one point it appeared they ran out of funds because it sat with no progress for what seemed like at least a couple of years. The original plans called for the tower to sit over the entrance to the starting line but they ended up making it out of storage containers on the hill behind the lanes. Still a very cool track with a lot of very nice friendly people.

If anyone is close to northeast Ohio next weekend (7-31 through 8-2) they will have their Rock N Race nostalgia event. Looking forward to attending. Larry Dixon will be there with his two seater.
