So 340 is pretty fast huh? (6 Viewers)

Should only be 12 or 18 months to 350! NHRA is probably not all that happy about 345!
The speed at which they went from 340 to 345, I think it will be much sooner than 12-18 months..... much to the NHRA's chagrin.
I predict 350 will come at one of these tracks:

  • 343.16 mph by Brittany Force at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California (July 25, 2025).
  • 341.85 mph by Brittany Force at Pacific Raceways (formerly Pacific Raceways) in Kent, Washington (July 20, 2025).
  • 341.59 mph by Brittany Force at zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, North Carolina (April 25, 2025).
  • 341.42 mph by Brittany Force at New England Dragway in Epping, New Hampshire (June 1, 2025).
  • 341.34 mph by Doug Kalitta at Pacific Raceways in Kent, Washington (July 20, 2025).

......Here’s a better view of it. I see no canopy and no canard wings… interesting
That is a good point. So after all these years of everyone running canard wings, because, well, "everyone else does it", those things may not have been doing shit, and may even have slowed the cars down a tiny bit?

It sure doesn't seem the canopy does a thing aerodynamically either, but of course they are likely a big improvement safety-wise to keep fire and debris out of the cockpit.
