Angelle Sampey swiped the third a starting spot in Pro Stock Motorcycles. Sampey pieced together a couple of good runs during the final day of qualifying. As a result, she held on to the third position in the race day order.
The three-time world champion will square off with 14th-place qualifier, Marco Andreano, in the opening round of eliminations.
"I'm ready to go racing," said Sampey. "The U.S. Army team has to leave Bandimere Speedway tomorrow still holding the point lead, regardless if it's me or Antron."
