The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods will roll into Maple Grove Raceway this upcoming weekend on Saturday August 21st, 2010. The NEOPMA racers are looking forward to returning to Maple Grove. “Our last race at Maple Grove in July this year at the Super Chevy was spectacular, with huge crowds and great Pro Mod action”, said Vito Micciolo.
The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mod Association will be hazing the quarter mile of MG for their ultimate side by side drag racing, all the best Pro Mods from Nitrous Class to Supercharged/Turbocharged Class, will be adding to the excitement of the "Rumble in the Grove" race.
The NEOPMA will quench your horsepower induced thirst for screaming burnouts, huge nitrous purges and supercharged madness on the top end at over 230MPH, full on nitrous tune-ups bursting out the exhaust into the night.
Radical Qualifying Sessions combined with Complete Head to Head Round Eliminations by the Pro Mod Team’s will give you the ultimate Pro Modified show raising your "Heartbeat" to a level only as they can!!
Pits are always a welcomed place to all our doorslammer friends, so come meet the drivers and teams; be a part of this northeast event action. In the Blower/Turbo class after four point’s events, Steve King is leading in the points standings in his blown 68’ Camaro, Tim O’Hare, Tommy Gray, Larry Plummer, Dina Parise, Steve Drummond, Andrew Parise, and Pete Farber round out the top eight spots in points.
Dominating in the Nitrous class after four point’s events, Fredy Scriba leads in the points standings winning three of four points events in the “Sorcerer” 63’ Vette, with Harold Martin, Joe Dunne, Steve Kramer, Vinnie Demieri, Gary Courtier, Ed Burnely and Matt Deitch rounding out the top eight spots in points.
