RoushYates Goes Drag Racing with Aeromotive (1 Viewer)

Why doesn't Bruton Smith find out if this format actually works before completely F'n up this sport completely???

Bruton has found the latest marketing gimmick and is going to ride it all the way to the bank.
The sport is confusing enough to newbies with all of the different classes, so let double the confusion.

Too late! Alan announced on the LVMS feed that equipment is in place to start on the other two lanes. Golden Rule is in place for Bruton . . . "Them who has the gold makes the rules." -

Funny, I've been there the last two days and there's no equipment there. Alan is just havin' fun!

Steve will be running two Precision Turbo Pro Mod 91 turbos when he debuts the Roush/Yates engine.

The comp engine he runs currently in the car is also boosted by Precision Turbo.

can someone explain when a pro mod or similar exits their headers to the side
and behind front wheel well, when is it more efficient to collect four headers
into one exhaust outlet? and when is it more efficient to run zoomie style
headers similar to fuel cars?
is it a function of engine type? available room? efficiency of header?
and is the turned up style catching on?

Back when Dinosaurs roamed the earth and Top Fuel dragsters had the motor in front of the driver a fan asked one of the Ramchargers team why they just had all eight pipes sticking up in the air rather than into a collector system as the collector system was proven to make more power, There answer to the fan was " All that will do is drive the pieces further into the ground"
Hard to argue with that logic.:D
