RON CAPPS' NAPA FIRE SUIT AND OTHER ITEMS TO BE AUCTIONED AT DSR OPEN HOUSE

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (Aug. 27, 2008) - The NAPA AUTO PARTS fire suit worn by NAPA AUTO PARTS Dodge Charger R/T Funny Car driver Ron Capps in early-season promotional shoots and also during the first several 2008 NHRA events will be up for live auction at the Don Schumacher Racing Open House in Brownsburg, Ind., on Friday, Aug. 29.
Also included in the live auction, which begins at 12:40 p.m., and whose proceeds will benefit the Riley Hospital for Children, will be a Valvoline helmet signed by all 2007 and 2008 DSR drivers.
DSR opens its doors at 10 a.m. at 1681 E. Northfield Dr., Brownsburg, Ind., and events will include the live auctions, as well as raffles of DSR and team sponsor items throughout the day.
Schedule of events:
10 a.m. - 4 p.m. - Fans may have photos taken in Cory Mac's Fram Top Fuel Dragster and Rockstar Energy Drink girls will pose for photos throughout the day.
12 noon - Introduction of Riley Family
12 noon - 1 p.m. - Special appearance by Indiana Pacers mascot "Bowser"
12:05 p.m. - Driver introductions followed by autographs until 12:50 PM
12:40 p.m. - Auction of Ron Capps firesuit
12:45 p.m. - Auction of Valvoline helmet signed by all 2007 and 2008 DSR drivers
12:50 p.m. - Introduction of three Valvoline Team members who donated $1000 each to Riley Hospital for Children from Valvoline video shoot and introduction of Riley Hospital for Children spokesperson
1:30 p.m. - Cacklefest
3:00 p.m. - Car Show Awards
3:15 p.m. - Raffle Prize Drawings, including an original painting by Bruce Tatman of the entire DSR race team commemorating DSR's 10 years in NHRA pro competition.
