<P> (8/26/08) Harrison Twp., MI – After the smoked cleared and their nerves settled Todd Robertson and his Pro Power Motorsports team couldn't be happier with their ADRL experience and are looking to return soon.

"I can't tell you how proud I am of my guys. To come to an event like this, qualify well and be involved with a top notch organization like Kenny Nowling's ADRL is just great," said an elated Robertson.

Robertson and his 07 Supercharged Chevy Cobalt were able to qualify for the Gatorz Eyewear Ohio Drags with an impressive 4.056 elapsed time at just under 182 miles per hour. Considering it was not only their first ADRL appearance but it is also the first season for Robertson and his Pro Power team running a blown combination, qualifying against the best in 1/8 mile Outlaw Racing is no small feat.

"This has been a learning year for us with the blown car but we've come along way. I think that being able to make the field here shows our progression," said Robertson.

Robertson's Crew Chief, Rocco Wilson, is already looking forward to returning to the ADRL's Pro Extreme ranks. "Coming into this weekend I was a little nervous and had tons of questions. The officials from the ADRL were great. The way the events are run and how everything, I mean everything is addressed during the driver meetings just puts you at ease and lets you concentrate on the car and not worry about anything else. It was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had racing and I'm looking forward to returning," said Wilson.

Team Owner/Driver Todd Robertson echoed Wilson's remarks about the ADRL and feels that his Pro Power team, with a little help could become a factor on the Pro Extreme scene. " Everything about this event went well for us. Ok, the first round loss didn't but I'll chalk that one up to a learning lesson. These events are run very well and it gave our team a chance to go head to head with some of the best in outlaw racing. Our car and our team performed very well and we learned a lot. We are a bit underpowered compared to the screw blower guys but I feel a roots car can compete here. We run a few other circuits where screw blowers are frowned upon so we need to stick to the roots. Our engine builder Mike Janis of Jan-Cen Motorsports has had success with his blower development and I think we'll be taking advantage of some of that technology this off season," said Robertson.
