Seems like they're slowly getting this team turned around. Good luck to them on Sunday.

And on a side note, Andrew Hines is #1. 20 pounds sure didn't effect them too long.

If I was a team strategist for the V&H team, I would not show what they have until the start of the Countdown. The NHRA would be in a tough spot to add weight once the Countdown starts. I think if Matt's bike had a clean run he would have been in the ballpark of both the Harley's and Hector. Only Matt would be able to say for sure.

i think they should just add 200 lbs then just slowly take it off.
sure don't look like they to worried about them being unsafe now

Just to set the record straight. There is no Rule saying you can't post results. This goes for race day or qualifying. If you don't want to see the results try and stay away from that forum area.

Thanks,
Shannon

Too bad those posts were deleted....might spice things up around here a little.

Hector made a perfect pass on q4..... He said there was no way he could not have gone any faster... We could have went 6.99 maybe... The suzuki's just keep fallen behind... When the weather gets hot the v-twins have a big advantage... I don't think you can believe anything those guys are saying (HD).... They said 20 lbs slowed them down 8 hundredths... come on if that was the case then e-town the harleys should have gone 6.82 not the 6.90 in the finals... Then on sunday at norwalk second round the 6.99 should have been a 6.91... The next step for NHRA is to take cubic inches away.... The harleys need to be cut to 120 cubic inches, then maybe take some weight off later.... Everybody in the class is now running for 3rd place....
