Then later Sun. 3:30AM et ESPN 2. (209 directv)

Thanks for the heads up.

Just Announced NHRA Mello Yello 2014 ESPN TV Package:

2014 Winternationals- Pomona, CA

--Qualifying- We'll do our best, might be split between channels. Hope you like to stay up late.
--Eliminations- Might be on, at some point. Around 6, 7, or 8pm (EST most likely). Best to set DVR +/- 3 hours on all ESPN networks to be sure you catch all the action.

2014 Carquest Nationlas - Phoenix, AZ to 2014 AAA Finals- Pomona, CA

--See Winternationals schedule

Kidding aside, I'm glad they show the Sunday races live on the internet, and save them to be watched later if need be.

Thats good LMAO!!!

I posted this before, but this is just ridiculous. NHRA is paying MILLION$ for the privilege of being slotted when nobody cares. Can you imagine pitching a sponsor with this nonsense? And the argument CANNOT be made that at least it's better than the days of Wide World of Sports. This isn't 1969. If the NHRA didn't pay ESPN, that would be a whole different story. But since that's not the case, I would hope that whoever cuts the check to ESPN is as fed up as the rest of the drag racing world.

Can't imagine existing sponsors being too happy about it either..

I don't understand--- if you type Watch Live Sports Events and ESPN Programs Online and on Mobile Applications - WatchESPN ---- you can't get on and watch what's offered ? Whether it's drag racing or nascar ?

Or go directly to the replay --

Streaming Online - WatchESPN

The coverage is usually locked and requires a login with an associated TV provider. Sometimes you can watch, other times you can't.

You also have to be on a partner ISP for it to work. At the Office we have Charter, all is good. At home, all there is available is Century Link DSL, and guess what ESPN3 doesn't let me do? Stream the broadcasts, even when unlocked.

If qualifying is on at a rediculous time then they should make it avail to espn3 when qualfying is over at the racetrack, but i know thats to much to ask from espn.

I think the fact that the viewership is so high on ESPN3 now is an excuse where they feel they can dick NHRA around on the actual broadcast.

What I find disheartening is that many of the same NHRA sponsors are also big money advertisers on ESPN outside of NHRA. You would think they might try to leverage better viewing times for their investments in NHRA racing as well. ** Cough Cough.. Coke, Ford, GM, Chrysler, Geico, Lucas, Castrol, Valvoline, AAA, Napa, Good Year **
