Does anyone know what's going on at R2B2 Racing? Will Melanie be in a nitro funny car or just the pro mod, since In-N-Out pulled their sponsorship??

More power to him, he fronted ALOT of money to give drivers careers and if he can only afford 1 thing, it's time for him to live a possible dream. Troxel will get a ride, so will Preutt

I don't know about a million times. I'm a huge LD fan, but I gotta say both Leah and Melanie have wheeled a variety of badass cars. Remember, while some drivers are better than others, seat time can really help a driver become good. This isn't like many sports, where you have to be genetically gifted to be a superstar.

Well, in the interest of "parity," NHRA lowered the displacement, the turbo size and type, and increased the weight of the turbo Pro Mods for the next racing season. I wonder how much pressure they were under, and from whom, to do all that? I can go along with the smaller engines/heavier car rules, but eh turbo type, size, and manufacturer restrictions (and the ban on any modifications to the turbo) seem a little Draconian. Steve Perry has his work cut out for him, it would appear.

On the other hand, no one has run a Hemi in any of those (turbocharged Pro Mod) cars, that I know of, and there MIGHT be some advantage to that... if NHRA hasn't outlawed them, too...

Time will tell...

Re: Singers. Brian, maybe you were thinking of Katy Petty or Tom Perry and the Heartbreakers ... :D
