Mike,
For the last couple of years, with MATCO and CAT, with Mister Powers blessing, RFC was using the 'Big Top' on Sunday Mornings. Will this Still happen?

Thank You

Karl

Was the "Big Top" included with the deal or was it something Powers team leased from another company?

We will have the same hospitality area. The honor and blessing of Sunday morning services will continue. I have the highest regard and appreciation for the Smiley's and RFC. See you...

I had just e-mailed Larry Smiley ( 2 hours ago) asking him this question.

Thanks Mike

It is great to hear.

It has been a blessing and will continue to be a blessing for RFC and all the racers who attend .

I'm no bible thumper and rarely attend "real" churches, but I have attended the RFC services at the races. Every time I attend one of the RFC services, I leave calm and serene. It's a very enjoyable service.

Thanks Mike and RFC for continuing this race-day tradition!

Mike;

A heartfelt thanks for your continuing support of RFC. In this sometimes crazy world we live in it's a great place to find a safe harbour, and for me to discover where my life has gotten "off center".

Great news btw regarding your purchase of the ex-Powers team. You have my admiration and fan support. Hey - you've been the funny car "KING of SPEED" for almost two years now and the way it's all going it looks like that 334.32 mph shot will stand for quite a while longer!

Best wishes for the 2009 season to you, Antron, Brian and Mark!

Mike, thanks very much. I am a fan, not a racer and I go to 8-10 National events every year. I always go to the RFC service on Sunday morning. The Powers tent worked out so well last year. It's great that you will continue that. I'm sure Larry Smiley is very relieved. Good luck to you and Antron this season!

Mike,

I know I speak for thousands of RFC parishioners across the world of motorsports, and particularly NHRA folks, when I express my heartfelt thanks for your continuing support of our efforts.

I have been deeply involved with RFC for over 20 years and the blessings the "Big Top" provides to the Sunday Chapel Services are truly incalculable.

My best wishes for an outstanding 2009 season and thank you.

as an rfc'er I just want to say thanks Mike

Thanks Mike and I see from the 387 388 your car ran today that puts any doubt out whether or not Brian and Mark car tune a long skinny car. Good luck this year.
