Prock Speaks about Leaving Force (1 Viewer)

This whole scenario of "Prock to DSR" and the backlash towards Prock and DSR is completely hypocritical. Wasn't Mike Neff "lured" away from DRS by Force years back? Whats the difference now with Prock and the outrage? Force ALWAYS tries to play the victim and win the public sympathy.

And didn't Todd Smith go from DSR to JFR?

I never had a problem with Prock going to DSR (or, for that matter, Neff going to JFR). It's just business.

I still bear some (minor) ill will toward John 'cause he cut Prock lose as soon as he gave notice. When someone - presumably in good faith - gives notice, it's a slap-in-the-face when an employer shows one the door (whether the departing employee is paid or not). Basically says, "I don't trust you"; not the message you should deliver to anyone who's been a contributor and it's one received loud and clear by every existing (or future) team member.
John, perhaps in a hot-headed moment, "cut off his nose to spite his face" and setting the table for ANYBODY who quits in-the-future -They will only give 'short notice'.

Don't forget Lanny Miglizzi track specialist formerly of DSR and Travis Wirth clutch specialist formerly of Tim Wilkerson. JF always as to play the victim. Oh and don't forget crying about Alexis DeJoria and all the money her dad has soon after he was informed his big piggy bank was getting smashed by Castrol and Ford.

Force has turned into a bawl bag much like Cruz and Tony. I hate to say that because I was a fan of everything John Force but he's been on a downhill slide since Austin left.

And how do we know the whole thing isn't orchestrated between DSR and JFR to increase the drama. Maybe they've taken a page from Vince McMahon and the WWE. Seems awfully convenient how crew chiefs and track specialists have gone back and forth between the two.

two completely different personalities trying to achieve the same goals in a tough market.
john and don grew up on opposite sides of the tracks.
neither is good or bad; they don't mesh as kids and they usually won't as adults either......no big deal.
neither team is going to disappear.

If nhra thinks they need "artificial drama" to hold fans, forget it, I'm gone. 330mph cars from a dead stop in 1,000ft in 3 3/4 seconds is enough for me.
I don't need two guys yelling in gruff voices Guy 1)"I'm gonna rip yer heart on the starting line"...guy 2) Oh yeah, I'm gonna blow yer car right off the track".
Next they'll be scriptin who wins. No thanks

I doubt it ! Force is a horrible actor. remember when he was trying to convince everyone his car legitimately went out of the groove against Hight a few years back.

Ever since that mess went down between Force and Coil, my interest in being a fan of JFR has dropped immensely. All of that yelling and hollering and playing the fool has worn me out, and I do think he did Coil dirty in their parting of the ways.

In the meantime, I'm going to keep cheering for Wilk, and Conrad's two floppers.
