The Pro Slammers Door Car Association will be back in action April 15-16th for the Funny Car Fever held at Sacramento Raceway Park. After having a great 2010 season the newly formed west coast association made its mark and is here to stay. The 7.00 Pro Slammers featured some of the best turbo, nitrous and blown entries around as they put on spectacular shows for the fans. Being the fastest index door slammer class around didn't just stop there as they stretched their wings and added the 7.60 Pro Slammers to their arsenal of fast door cars. 2011 is sure to be full of excitement and rivalries as reigning 2010 champion Mike Doushgounian tries to fend off the rest of the 7.0 Slammers field, while event winner Mark Lawson attempts to keep in front the pack in 7.60 Slammers class.
" We have some of the best drivers on the west coast running with us and we have given them a place to display their skills while still being able to pay the mortgage. Its all about having fun at the end of the day without having to deal with a bunch of rules, emptying your pockets and electronics. Just come run what you brung and hope you brought enough"! says, Mike Henry the promoter for association. Pro Slammers race on a 7.00/7.60 index with a .400 pro tree and follow the NHRA's ADV ET rules. To view the full 2011 event schedule or for more info, please visit PSDCA
