[coverattach=1]Ennis, Texas -- Every racer knows that when the decision to run extreme sports has been made, there is a lot of hard team work involved to be successful.

For the Pro Extreme LenMar Motorsports team of Gaylen "The Texas Bounty Hunter" Smith and Mark Eddins, the last two weeks of racing have brought the team together for just that, hard work, and lots of it.

Following a spectacular debut of "Hel Air" at The Rock a few weeks earlier, the team headed to Houston Motorsports Park for the final TOPMA race at HMP for the season. At the end of the 2nd qualifier, the LenMar Co-Founder's brand new 57' Chevy Bel Air made a hard right turn in the shut down area hitting the wall and significantly damaging the car.

This incident was no set back for the team as they banned together and worked endless hours repairing the Hel Air and to put their Texas Bounty Hunter Cuda back into racing action for the TOPMA double header a week later.

The Team's hard work paid off for Friday's final race at the Texas Raceway points series race in Kennedale, Texas and the team made a great come back by working their way into the semi finals for the event.

Saturday's race at Dallas Raceway in Crandall didn't work out quite as well as the team had hoped for. They broke a lifter on the second qualifier, aborting the pass and left the team with a rare DNQ for the event.

"We knew we couldn't miss those two races as we're getting down to all of the finals for the season" Smith said, "while we were replacing parts and fixing Hel Air, getting ready for the finals, we had to stay out there for these races as well since we've worked all year towards the $30,000 Texas Raceway Shoot-Out and the TOPMA Championship.

"After the race at Crandall when we DNQ'd, we had Hel Air ready to go for testing on Sunday just to make sure everything was good to go. Unfortunately, we spun a main bearing and tore up the crank and motor. We spent this week getting another motor together and we're ready to go at the LenMar World Finals at Ennis while still attending to our customer requirements at our shop. This is our home track and our Company sponsored race, so we are focused to do well on every lap and want the best showing possible with all of our family and friends by our side" concluded Smith.

In addition to the teams' racing efforts, LenMar Motorsports is proud to announce that the LenMar World Finals will also be the 2009 debut of the 1967 Camaro of Darrell and Randall Reid of Wichita Falls, Texas. Randall Reid will be piloting the Camaro and- will be running a brand new LenMar Motor combination.
