IMO 1.5x points works great at indy and finals. should offer a larger purse at season opening gators, that pays all the way down to 18th or 19th qualifier.
start the season with 16+ car plus fields so saturday qualifying is great + the TF shootout deal.

of the 12 full time touring cars; schumacher, langdon, pruett, and antron are not in for the march 2024 TF shootout. hart, prock, and millican are in.
