We have two race wins this week as the St Louis event finally wrapped up as well Dallas.

Congrats to St Louis Winner Jay Smith with an impressive 26 points, Matt Hagan stopping with the runner up spoiled the perfect points weekend. Still the highest single race point total this year.

Congrats to Dallas winner Mark Forbes with a tie breaker win over Terry Almy

Jay Smith holds a two lead in the season standings with a bunch of people trying to catch him in these final two races.

Damn, now I really wish I hadn't forgot to enter the Pomona race and the specialty race. I have been trying to catch that old man Almy and unless he stumbles and I get 2 more good finishes I may run out of races. He beats me in slot car racing and now it looks like he is going to beat me here. Chasing points from starting in last place isn't as easy as Torrence makes it look.

You sure missed a good one this past weekend at the Kings of Speed Dragster Shootout that had a 118 car field of some of the best dragsters on the west coast. But, since you weren't there I got to get myself a win and pocket $410.00. Now I get to eat for another week.

Definitely congrats to Jay, Mark, and Terry. I can still remember how excited I was the year I won and started getting discounts at most of the buffets around the Country. But, later I found out that I got the discounts because that was the year I was validated as a senior citizen and not because I was the PTW Champion. Still that didn't make the win any less exciting.
