BAYTOWN, Tex. (March 31, 2007) - Drivers in the AMS Staff Leasing Pro Modified Challenge presented by Tindle Enterprises, Inc. have one more qualifying round scheduled Sunday morning before the ladders are set and the pairings announced in the O'Reilly NHRA Spring Nationals at Houston Raceway Park.
Rain pounded the central and southern parts of Texas Saturday, causing NHRA to cancel qualifying for the day. Because the Pro Mods had only one round of qualifying on Friday, the class will run a second qualifying round before the official pre-race ceremonies on Sunday, and will run eliminations as regularly scheduled, beginning at 11 a.m.
