Oil downs, dry sumps (1 Viewer)

I know they have dry sumps in funny cars for safety reasons (I am guessing
minimizing oil fires). But isn't there another benefit of reducing how much oil is
laid down when there is breakage? Do you think NHRA will require dry sumps in
dragsters?
