Odds for NHRA Pro's @ Las Vegas Nationals (1 Viewer)

LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas oddsmakers Jay Rood (MGM Mirage) and Fred Crespi (The Palms Hotel & Casino) agree: Larry Dixon (Top Fuel Dragster), Matt Hagan (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) are the favorites for this weekend’s NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. All three just happen to be the NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series points leaders in their classes.

Tony Schumacher, the perennial Top Fuel Dragster favorite, this time is listed second at 4/1. Fourteen-time NHRA Funny Car champion John Force was given the same odds as Hagan: 5/2. Defending Pro Stock champion Mike Edwards is on the board at 4/1.

Jeg is listed at 7-1 at the sports book. The press release from LVMS is incomplete. Also, the Pro Stock field is currently 12-1. These are for the MGM properties (MGM, Mirage, NyNy, Mandaly etc.) The odds may be slightly different at the Palms.

Wow...they actually did their homework this year. Usually you can log the odd's with the current point standings....Beckman at 10-1 is a GOOD value bet...

Wow, I just had Del as my winner on the Pick Em and changed at the last minute to Hagen, I would love to see Del pull it off, especially as his own tuner!
