Wow, I've been following the updated forecasts for this weekend and there's a very good chance of some major rainout action. Models calling for 4+ total inches of rain there from today to Sunday! All of the fields around the track will be pure mud, sounds like Columbus all over again. Guess we got spoiled rotten from the perfect (and very unusual) weather last year, back to reality this year!

Unfortunately, it is an occupational hazard of operating an outdoor venue in Ohio.

For Norwalk, this will be 2 out of 3 rainy National Event weekends.

Don't forget, the final World Nationals at Norwalk featured Hillary Will's first professional win on Monday morning as many of the other visiting NHRA touring pros who were still in left in competition decided not bother sticking around to run the final few rounds of an IHRA event.
