He was part of the Stampede of Speed a few years ago and besides the political joke telling clown(not an insult, if I remember correctly it was a person dressed as a clown) people were howling just how bad he was.

He hasn't been since his announcement. We shall see if he shows up again.

David Freiburger has a large following of younger people and may bring non hardcore drag racing fans into the viewership. I don't get excited about his ratty builds or his trucks , but he has a lot of knowledge of NHRA.

I’m not the biggest Al Tucci fan either but at least he is the pro mod announcer so we will only get him at 10 events. To me, he is the Harry Carry of drag racing announcers. You just never know what he is going to say next.

Al Tucci will be perfect for the Pro Mod stuff. That’s definitely his niche. He cut his teeth here at Greatlakes Dragaway.
