Good article in the NYT about NASCAR's R&D team working on a new and more efficient way to dry racetracks after a rain delay. They said that it typically takes 2 1/2 hours to dry Daytona after a heavy rain, and they expect that this system could do it in about 30 minutes!!

NHRA should take a look at this once they finish it!!
