Nancy Matter Racing Combines Fast Cars and Rock & Roll with Major Sponsorship for 2007

TheMusic.com and Legendary Rock Band The Who have partnered with the Top Alcohol Funny Car team of Nancy Matter for the 2007 racing season.

Matter will debut TheMusic.com / The Who 2007 logo on her alcohol funny car at the upcoming Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals April 26th in Atlanta, Georgia. "We are extremely pleased to have this opportunity for our racing program. I've been working with Michael Hobson at TheMusic.com for over four years and during that time we've completed concert tours for Peter Gabriel and Duran Duran's 25th Anniversary Reunion Tour" states Matter. "The Who has been on tour since last summer and to date we have completed more than 80 concerts that are available on CD and DVD at TheMusic.com through TheMusic.com's Encore Series. All Proceeds from the sales are donated to designated Children's Charities of The Who and we are so honored that they have agreed for us to represent them with our 250 mile an hour alternative advertising billboard".

Michael Hobson, President of TheMusic.com notes "We are very proud to have Nancy and her team as an alternative marketing avenue with TheMusic.com and for The Who. She brings a wealth of talent, integrity, creativity, business sense and marketability to our organization. She has put the final touches on more than 150 live concerts that we have done over the past four years, and it is a pleasure to be working with her not only musically, but also within the NHRA Drag Racing community."

Services of TheMusic.com, Hollywood, California include The Encore Series that provides consumers to relive their live concert experience directly from the show that has been digitally remastered and reproduced for CD and DVD. The Gear Shop is a place for audiophiles and music lovers to come to find out about and purchase a range of equipment that produces an enjoyable musical experience and The Groove Shop provides online shopping of Classic Records and Memorabillia in the form of new and used Vinyl, DVD/DAD, CD's and Combo Packs covering many different styles of music and video for all ages.

As an additional note, in the fall of 2007, Matter, along with her Vice President of Marketing, Wes Welch, have successfully negotiated a deal with a Nitro Funny Car team to start training Matter for her Nitro Funny Car License to move her into the Professional ranks of Funny Car Racing within the NHRA. Details will follow soon.

Nancy would like to thank her crew for their loyalty and late nights that we've all been putting in getting the car ready. Also, a big thanks to Jeff at Graphics723 of Chatsworth, California for all of the vinyl at the 12th hour that we've requested. Charles West at Angus Asphalt and James Lizardi for his magical touch on the logo and all of our upcoming merchandise. The Gasparrelli Family for allowing Nancy as a young girl to help with a competitive funny car that created a life long passion and lastly, to Michael Hobson at TheMusic.com and The Who for helping us with an opportunity of a lifetime.
