San Diego, Ca – Dan Myers has been busy this offseason. After being in the chase last year for the 2010 West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association points’ battle and finishing in the top 5 in the number 4 spot, he looks to improve on that in the 2011 season with some new additions over the winter.

First, and the most drastic, is the addition of the screw blower poking out the hood and almost over the roof of his 1957 Chevy Cameo truck. Dan was the highest placed driver in the 2010 WCOPMA points standings that did not use a screw blower but he cracked and ditched his roots blower for 2011 and picked up this D-Rotor screw blower. Helping him put all this new power to the ground will be a new lock up style clutch.

With continued tuning help from Lonnie Houde and Bob Bunker Jr., Dan is committed to running the entire 2011 WCOPMA series and is looking to once again be in the chase for the 2011 Points Championship come September.

The most obvious change to his truck is the killer new paint job. He stuck with his classic blue base color but went with a darker tone. He also spent a little more attention to the detail and added airbrushing to the bumpers, grill and some scalloping along the front and sides.

“This complete new look is just what the truck needed. The paint is classic and simple, looks like an old hot rod. But then you see the giant blower sticking out of the hood and it shows I mean business this season!”
