1. Psycho Mustang of Ralph Snodgrass and Pat Mahken driven by Larry Barken
2. Destroyer Jeep-Gene Conway
3. The Stinger-Roger Hardcastle
4. Maynard Rupp's Chevoom Chevelle
5. Motta & Williamson rear-engine Challenger (remember Joe the Chromer?)
6. Don Burn's Durachrome Bug-Warren Gunter (maybe the scariest funny car ever)
7. The Cotton Picker Dart Wagon-Cotton Owens
8. Branster & Howell "Dart Charger" rear engine machine.
9. Hayden Proffitts Ramblin RebelSST
10. Dye & Hamptons American Bandstand twin engine Corvette
11. Ron Roseberry's Hemi Powered "King Rebel"
12. The Penetration Dodge Charger of Larry Arnold, injected hemi with no windshield.
13. Eddie Pauling's "WhineMaker" rear-engine Mercury Cougar
14. Fred Goeske's Plymouth Dealers Assoc. Roadrunner
15. Danny Miller's "Plastic Fantastic" Ford Maverick
16. The Snoopy Jaguar driven by John Hoffman

20. And my all-time scariest and odd Funny Cras ever, Dave Zachary in that El Dorado. Every time I saw that car run, especially at Lions, you held your breath and hoped for the best as it was ill-handling to say the least and that thing cost Dave his life.

Ed Lenarth's Holy Toledo Jeep could probably be joined with your #2 car of Gene Conway as they were very similar. Your #18 (Dick Jesse) had to be the craziest ! An interesting post that may last for awhile !

I saw Dye & Hampton in 1962, the car was an AA/Modified Coupe (not a real class). Fiat body with the twin chevy engines. That was the chasis they used to put a Vette body on. Hated when the car crashed cuz it had such a history.
