WOW, those were some awesome memories.
You always knew Smith vs Kelly was going to be good race. I take it Ricky redlit on that one but it was hard to hear the announcer. They ran each other weekly at the old Houston Dragway. That is the same Pete Smith from Bobby Bennett's video. Ricky Kelly was driving for Earl Moscarelli who owned the WOP shop. I always loved that 63 split window. Back before the 63 Corvette Earl owned an Anglia that Johnny Mancuso of T/F Harley fame cut his teeth on in late 60's early 70's.
