He might not have matched the Big Guy upstairs; who created the Earth in seven days; but Bruton Smith did manage to take wooded acreage and build the “Bellagio of drag strips” in seven months. Sure, there were mistakes made, but that’s bound to happen. How they deal with them in the coming months will determine the success of the facility. But judging from the way they dealt with any adversities in the building stages, you can be sure problems will be handled in a first-class manner.
