The employees of Combustion Technologies USA were life-long fans of NHRA Top Alcohol Dragster racer Mark Niver. His dedication to the sport and his creative, quality driven craftsmanship is an instrumental part of our business philosophy. Tragically, Niver lost his life due to injuries suffered in a racing accident this past Sunday during the running of the NHRA Northwest Nationals. On behalf of the staff at Combustion Technologies USA, we would like to offer our heart-felt condolences to the Niver family for their loss.

As NHRA Sportsman racers ourselves, we believe Niver, a machinist by trade was one of the best examples of ‘Ingenuity in Action’, a phrase which is a fundamental principle which created the National Hot Rod Association. He was also a gentleman. One of the crew members of our sponsored driver Johnny Ahten’s NHRA A/Fuel and IHRA Pro Fuel race team, Todd “Rocky” Rockwell, has designed this special commemorative tribute sticker to honor the life and legacy of “The Billet Bullet”.

We would like to offer these stickers to racers, friends and fans of Mark Niver shipped to your address for a donation of $5.00 per sticker. 100 percent of proceeds will be donated to Racers For Christ (Team RFC: Racers for Christ, Rodders for Christ, Restorers for Christ, Pullers for Christ) on behalf of the Niver Family in Mark’s memory. Our team driver Johnny Ahten will be competing at the NHRA Division 7 LODRS Event in Sonoma July 23-25th and will have them on hand. Please visit his pit area for the stickers. Picture this...A guy and his wife are sitting at home. The guy is stuffing envelopes with stickers and a letter, while his wife is hand writing over 300 names and addresses on envelopes while watching NHRA Drag Racing on ESPN 2.

By the way, Justin Davis has created a very nice Decal for the Niver Family and Larry Miersch has one being made which will be available at the Sonoma Divisional Race next weekend. As more become available, I will let you know how to get them.

Among the family and locals in attendance were Shelly Anderson and probably others I don't know or recognize by face. There was also a band, plenty of food and drink, and three cackle cars turned up making noise and flames. I never met Mark; but, I'm to understand that this is how we would have wanted it.

Due to the overwhelming request for more Mark Niver tribute stickers, we have decided to make more of them and have them available to order on our company store at Combustion Technologies USA starting tomorrow. All proceeds of sales during the month of August will be split between Racers For Christ and The Phoenix Rescue Mission on behalf of Mark's family.
